Rental listing videos from $49
A rental listing video from RocketReel costs $49 for 30 seconds, AUD, GST inclusive, and is made from the inspection or listing photographs in about 12 minutes: a narrated description of the home with music, the address and bed/bath/car count on screen and your agency card at the close. The weekly rent, available date and inspection time are not spoken or printed in the video; they belong in the listing text and caption beside it. Made by a Brisbane-based Queensland company for property managers who list rentals every week and almost never get video for them.
Why a rental video is justified at this price
RocketReel prices are list prices from the price book; external figures were checked on 16 October 2026.
| Filmed by a videographer | RocketReel | |

| Who supplies the images | The videographer shoots | The inspection or listing photographs you already took |
| Turnaround | A booked shoot, then editing | About 12 minutes on a real 30s job |

| Volume | One booking per property | One order per property, any number of properties |
| Presenter | Rarely used on rentals | None, Liz Tilley, or your avatar (Pro) |
Published videographer figures are from the price pages listed on the Brisbane and Gold Coast region pages. RocketReel prices are AUD, GST inclusive.
What the rental video does and does not say
The narration is the same kind of script a sale listing gets: written from the photographs and the property details, it describes the living areas, the kitchen and bathroom condition, the outdoor space and the location, and closes on the agency card. It does not read out the weekly rent, the available date or the inspection time, and it never invents them. Those three facts are what tenants act on, so put them in the listing text, the video caption and the inspection confirmation email, where they can be read, copied and updated when the rent or the inspection changes without re-rendering the video. Where property managers use it
On the portal listing, in the inspection confirmation email and on the agency’s social accounts. Choose 16:9 for the listing page or 9:16 for stories and reels; the same brief produces either. See social media property videos →
A real 30-second example
The 30-second narration
Thirty seconds carries four or five sentences, which is exactly the length of a rental pitch. From the 246 Kent St, New Farm — 30s social cut narration: “For busy households, more space changes how weekdays feel. From considered connections, the two-storey arched facade signals scale and presence; full-height glazed windows pull light into daily living, with four bedrooms supporting flexibility.” Watch more property video examples →
Rental listing video questions
- How much does a rental listing video cost?
- $49 for a 30-second Property Reel, AUD, GST inclusive — the lowest price on the RocketReel price book and the same for a rental as for a sale. Published filmed social cuts in Brisbane and the Gold Coast run $225–$300 and full listing packages $250–$1,550, which is why almost no rental gets a filmed video.
- Does the video say the weekly rent and the inspection time?
- No. The narration is written from the photographs and the property details (address, bedrooms, bathrooms, parking, features, your description for context) and describes the home and the lifestyle it offers; it does not read out prices, dates or inspection times. The on-screen property graphic shows the address, the bed/bath/car count and your agency card. Put the weekly rent, available date, lease term, pet policy and inspection time in the listing text, the caption and the inspection email around the video, where tenants can read and copy them.
- Do I need professional photographs?
- No, but the video is only as good as the photographs. Use 6–8 bright, honest, landscape photos of the living area, kitchen, bathroom, main bedroom and outdoor space; kitchen and bathroom condition matter most to tenants.
- Can a property manager order in bulk?
- Order one video per listing today; for connected systems and volume, contact us about the agency workflow and the listing-URL import (currently Ray White and Place).
- Is there a presenter on a rental video?
- Optional. Choose no presenter, Liz Tilley, or your own avatar with Pro. Many property managers choose no presenter and let the agency card close the video.
